Information for passengers traveling through the Kazakhstan section of the customs border of the Eurasian Economic Union

 

RATES FOR DUTY-FREE ENTRY OF GOODS FOR PERSONAL USE:

       Goods for personal use may be imported into the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union without the payment of customs duties:
  •  

Goods for personal use imported by air transport,

►

the value of which does not exceed the amount equivalent to 10,000 Euros, and (or) the total weight does not exceed 50 kg

  •  

Goods for personal use, imported by means of transport other than air or on foot,

►

the value of which does not exceed the amount equivalent to  500 Euros, and (or) the total weight does not exceed 25 kg

  •  

Goods for personal use, sent by international mail to the customs territory of the Union,

►

the value of which does not exceed the amount equivalent to 200 euros and (or) the gross weight of international mail does not exceed 31 kg 
  •  

Goods for personal use, delivered by a carrier to the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union,

►

the value of which does not exceed the amount equivalent to 200 euros, and (or) the weight does not exceed 31 kg 

 

RATES FOR DUTY-FREE ENTRY OF CERTAIN GOODS

PER PERSON UNDER THE AGE OF 18

 

  • Alcoholic beverages and beer - no more than 3 liters;
  • 200 cigarettes or 50 cigars (cigarillos) or 250 g of tobacco, or in assortment with total weight not exceeding 250 g.

 

THE PRODUCTS DO NOT FALL INTO THE CATEGORY

OF GOODS FOR PERSONAL USE IF:

 

1. THE FREQUENCY OF MOVEMENT OF GOODS EXCEEDS 1 TIME PER MONTH  

 

2. THE NUMBER OF GOODS EXCEEDS THE FOLLOWING INDICATORS:

 

  • articles made from fur

1 item of one item name, size and design per person  
  • mobile phones

2 units per person
  • tablet computers

2 units per person
  • portable computers

1 unit per person
  • jewellery

5 items per perso
  • bicycles

1 piece per person
  • baby strollers

1 piece per person

 

In case of exceeding the rates for duty-free entry, customs declaration with the payment of customs payment - 30% of customs value, but not less than 4 euros per kg shall be completed in terms of exceeding.
